Accidentally Married to a Hidden Heir

Making a Baby

Chapter 8: Making a Baby

That night, I tossed and turned in bed, utterly unable to sleep.
“Hubby, something still feels completely off to me. Did I accidentally transmigrate into a parallel universe? I clearly remember that in my past life, your right ear was deaf, but no matter how hard I think about it, I can’t figure out why.”
He opened his arms and pulled me into his chest, locking down my fidgeting limbs. “Wifey, to tell you the truth, I actually had a very long dream too. Or rather, a nightmare.”
“In that dream, we were total strangers. You were always gloomy and unhappy. Every time I ran into you by chance, if you weren’t frowning with a heavy face, you were hiding in a corner sobbing your heart out.”
In a deep, quiet voice, he recounted so many details. I listened in silence until he brought up that turning point from back then:
Once, his phone received a landslide warning for the outskirts of town. He remembered I was out on a camping trip in that exact disaster zone that day. Beside himself with panic, he sprinted out like mad to find me, getting scraped and bruised before finally carrying me to safety. But as luck would have it, on his way back, a rolling boulder from the mountain struck him right in the head, rupturing his right eardrum and causing total hearing loss, while leaving his body covered in scars.
All the chaotic clues in my memory instantly clicked together into a complete picture. It turned out the unsung hero who had carried me into the hospital that day… wasn’t that scumbag Zheng Xian at all. It was Jiang Yu’an!
Heartbroken and furious, I asked him, “Then why didn’t you tell me when you woke up? Why did you let that bastard Zheng Xian take all the credit?!”
“Wifey, I didn’t want you to carry that emotional burden. If you knew the person who saved you became disabled because of it, you’d only feel more heartbroken and blame yourself. You didn’t do anything wrong, and neither did I, so there was nothing that needed explaining.”
I took a deep breath, blood rushing straight to my head in sheer indignation. I immediately flipped over, pulled out my phone, and drafted a long, fiery essay cursing out Zheng Xian’s entire bloodline—the same Zheng Xian currently struggling abroad to make a living.
Zheng Xian replied at lightning speed with a massive question mark: 【??? Are you insane, Xu Zhizhi?! When the hell did I ever ask you to go off-roading? Are you sleepwalking?!】
Whatever. Screw him. A trash bag is still a trash bag, no matter what timeline it’s in.

Once I finished, I turned back in deep satisfaction, burying my face into Jiang Yu’an’s warm chest and breathing in his familiar, masculine scent.
Gentle moonlight filtered through the window, casting a serene quiet over the late-night room. Looking at the toned chest right in front of me, my hands started itching uncontrollably. I slipped a hand inside his shirt, wandering aimlessly. “So… how about we give Ningning a little sister?”
He played along with effortless rhythm, flipping over to press me beneath him. His low, raspy laugh brushed against my ear like a feather:
“Of course. Anything for my wife.”
Lazy morning sunlight drifted through the curtains, illuminating our two bodies tangled tightly together in bed. Even with beads of sweat glistening on his forehead, Jiang Yu’an’s strong hands firmly gripped my hips, relentlessly and steadily plowing his fertile field.
“Mmm… ah… Aren’t you tired?” Broken moans slipped from my lips. Half-asleep and pouting, I gave his shoulder a soft, playful punch. “Spare me, please… my old back is going to snap…”
He let out a low, breathless chuckle, his voice deeply seductive against my ear as he panted softly. “Didn’t my wife say last night that she wanted to give Ningning a little sister? I’m just working overtime on production to stay on schedule.”
Where on earth was the cold, distant “ice-king deity” of the past? Give me back my shy, penniless boyfriend! After getting married, he had evolved into a wolf in sheep’s clothing—his skin impossibly thick, and his stamina growing in direct proportion to the Jiang family’s massive fortune.
Exhausted, I surrendered completely, doing nothing but clinging tightly to his broad shoulders, whimpering for mercy while letting him carry me along with every rhythmic, crashing wave.
Not until the sun was high in the sky did the sound of shuffling footsteps echo from the hallway, followed by our precious daughter’s senseless thump-thump-thump on the door: “Mommy! Daddy! Sun’s burning my butt! Ningning is super hungry!”
Hearing the urgent knocking outside, he suddenly picked up the pace. The abrupt, relentless rhythm caught me off guard, and gasping moans nearly tore from my throat. Terrified our daughter might hear, I frantically covered my mouth. Jiang Yu’an immediately reached down, pulled my hands away, and aggressively claimed my lips, swallowing all the sultry sounds into his own mouth.
All my moans dissolved into muffled, breathless whimpers trapped against his tongue. Pinned tightly into the mattress, I was completely undone by a kiss that was both fiercely passionate and laced with urgency, gasping through my nose with every rapid, pounding thrust.
Only when a surging wave of heat flooded inside me did he softly release my swollen, red lips, letting out a deep, satisfied exhale before collapsing his head into the crook of my neck to savor the lingering afterglow.
After a few seconds to catch his breath, he called out toward the door in a raspy voice: “Be a good girl, Ningning. Give Daddy five minutes, and I’ll come make breakfast for you right away.”
With that, he planted a sweet, reluctant kiss on my forehead before finally pulling out, cleaning up the messy battleground, and going out to soothe our daughter.
I lay splatted on the bed like a dried fish, simultaneously overflowing with happiness and nursing my aching waist. Staring at the ceiling, I thought to myself: At this rate, Ningning really is going to have a little sister soon!
By the time he finished feeding the little softie and escorted her to kindergarten, Jiang Yu’an returned home.
Pushing the bedroom door open, he stepped softly inside to find me still fast asleep. Exhausted from earlier, I had kicked off a corner of the blanket, exposing my sleek, fair legs. Under the brilliant morning sunlight, my smooth skin practically glowed, teasing the eyes of anyone watching.
Jiang Yu’an stood dazed at the edge of the bed, his Adam’s apple bobbing up and down. His gaze darkened, and the fire that had just been doused an hour ago instantly roared back to life.
“You did say you wanted to give Ningning a little sister…” he muttered under his breath, decisively stripping off his jacket and tossing it aside.
He gently crawled onto the bed, pulled back the duvet, and slid his body flush against my soft form.
Drowsy and half-asleep, I suddenly felt a large shadow loom over me, followed by a familiar surge of thick, scorching heat pressing tightly against my back. Before I could process what was happening, his rough hands skillfully slipped beneath my nightgown, gripping my waist firmly and lifting me up.
“Mmm… Jiang Yu’an, are you insane? I just fell asleep…” I gasped in shock.
“Be a good girl, wifey. Just one more time. I promise I’ll be gentle.” He kissed the back of my neck softly, his voice thick with raw desire.
His definition of “gentle,” however, had absolutely nothing to do with his actions. Biting down softly on my earlobe, his long, powerful legs forced their way between mine, parting them decisively as he pressed forward—launching a brand-new round of “production work” in broad daylight.
